For those who might not have a complete understanding of our services, here is a detailed explanation to better understand the process we go through. Dry cleaning is a cleaning process for clothing or textiles using a chemical solvent, not water. It is used to clean delicate fabrics that cannot withstand the rough and ruggedness of a washing machine or clothes dryer. A dry cleaning machine is similar to a combination of a domestic washing machine and clothes dryer. Garments are placed in the washing or extraction chamber which constitutes the core of the machine. The washing chamber contains a horizontal drum that rotates within an outer shell. The shell holds the solvent while the rotating drum holds the garment load. During the wash cycle, the chamber is filled one-third full of solvent and starts the rotating process, agitating the clothing. The solvent temperature is maintained low, as a higher temperature has been shown to damage it. During the wash cycle, the solvent in the chamber is passed through a filtration chamber and then immediately fed back into the cage.

 The solvent is then removed and sent to a distillation unit consisting of a boiled and condenser. The condensed solvent is processed into a separator unit where any left over water is separated from the solvent and then brought back into the clean solvent tank. Not all stains can be removed simply by dry cleaning, which is why we offer a finishing agent synthetic sizing added at no extra cost for a better feel and clean of the fabric.
